I have been really enjoying people photography and doing corporate portraits, but have been wanting to spend more time working with models. Working with someone that wants their photo taken and wants to work with the photographer is quite fun, and allows me to get more creative. I am going to put together a small advice series for models preparing for a shoot early in their career, while they're still trying to put together a dozen great shots.

But first, here's what Kimberly B. and I were able to put together in a few hours:

Flash lit outdoor portrait of Business Woman Kimberly B, MM#555887, taken at the Tucson Library

Color Headshot of Kim, taken on stairs of Pima County Courthouse

The long walk home, Kimberly carrying her shoes down the railroad tracks in Tucson, AZ

Sundress stroll. Kim at the old Amtrak station in Tucson, AZ

Ringflash lit headshot of Kimberly, taken at the old Tucson Amtrak Station

Black and White Headshot of Kimberly, taken at the Tucson courthouse.

Our goal was simple: get a number of different images. Different enough so they looked like they were taken on different days by different photographers. This would jumpstart her portfolio and communicate a level of experience.
